Wedding Dress Trend Alert!
We’re seeing some extremely exciting styles coming through this season, and one of those is the deep V-neck wedding dress design. Balancing sexy and sophisticated, lots of designers are showing gowns with plunging necklines.
This style started as a celebrity red carpet look, but has quickly worked its way into bridal fashion. To balance this plunging style for an elegant yet seductive look, long or soft capped sleeves work really well. Here are a few examples from Inbal Dror, Gemy Couture and Eliza Jane Howell:
While deep necklines were popular last season, we have seen a change in terms of balance and style, with softer, less severe necklines. This stunning gown by Anna Georgina and Kobus Dippenaar has a soft satin fishtail skirt and delicate bows to the shoulders, softening the neckline and accentuating the lace and bead encrusted bodice.
Lusan Mandongus have also taken advantage of this trend. This gown balances the deep V-neck with delicate lace and a fuller A-line skirt.
