Yedyna was founded by Maryna Vasilyeva, one of Ukraine's most established bridal designers. The dresses are handcrafted in Kyiv. They're known for sculptural corsetry, delicate hand-beading, 3D lace appliqué, and modern silhouettes. Our Islington boutique stocks the collection.

The story behind Yedyna
Yedyna (pronounced yeh-DEE-nah) takes its name from the Ukrainian word for "the only one". This is the phrase a bride hopes to embody on her wedding day. The brand is the personal project of Maryna Vasilyeva, a Ukrainian designer. With over fifteen years in bridal fashion, her work has been produced for various international labels. This was before she launched Yedyna under her own name. Every Yedyna gown is hand-crafted in the atelier in Kyiv. Here, Maryna and her team focus on the two things she's best known for. This is couture corsetry that sculpts the figure and intricate hand-finishing that rewards a second look.
The Yedyna bridal collection
Yedyna's aesthetic is a considered balance of modern cut and romantic detail. Expect translucent corset bodices with structural lines. Look for craft lace, textured organza, and 3D-effect hand-embroidered appliqués throughout. Silhouettes run from clean contemporary columns to dramatic mermaids and show-stopping mini dresses.
Many gowns are designed with complementary looks in mind. This way, brides can build a pair of looks from a single fitting. Such includes removable statement sleeves, added capes, or tops and skirts that mix across styles. It's couture craft at a price point that still leaves room for the rest of the wedding.
