Tell us about your experience at Morgan Davies Bridal!
I came to Morgan Davies in London the morning of my bridal lunch in September with my a bridesmaid and close friend and had an amazing first appointment for an hour and a half. I tried on a number of styles, designers and price points to get a general understanding of what best suit me, with my input on styles I was keen to try! From this first appointment, I tried on a modern, timeless dress by Jesus Piero which was the right price point and no rush fee (I had moved my wedding 6 months forward!) so this was a god send to hear! Following my first appointment, I came back in for my follow up and had the wonderful Laura who was a “wedding dress godmother”, she was the perfect guide and genuinely cared to help me find the best dress that exuded my personality, my style and ticked as many boxes as possible. Numerous appointments later with other dress shops, I came back to the Jesus Piero. Laura was an amazing advisor to make the dress as personalised as possible to tick all the boxes. I couldn’t have done it without her ongoing support, care and attention to detail. The dress was a definite talking point on the day! I want to thank Laura for taking such care of me, and making this experience as magical as it should be, for a new bride!
Tell us about your wedding!
From changing plans – destination to UK, London or the countryside, we chose to have a modern, timeless and stylish black tie city wedding in London on St Patricks Day. After coming to the conclusion that we wanted to focus on quality across every touchpoint, we scaled our guest numbers to 45 people, keeping it intimate and personal. To give our guests a magical experience, we split our wedding and reception venue to give guests a unique day, see different parts of London and have each part of the day have its own “moment!”. With guests coming from abroad, we wanted to have our original destination feel, but in London. We married at Old Marylebone Town Hall, followed by our reception at 34 Mayfair, taking over their beautiful private dining room, The Emin Room. With an all-female supplier team bringing our wedding to life, they did an incredible job with my very clear vision and design brief (!) focusing on 5 key words- Modern, Elegant, Stylish, Chic, Romantic. Focussing on our closest friends and family guests, quality of food, drink, music and overall experience, we didn’t compromise!
