Mery Perelló Marries Rafael Nadal Wearing Rosa Clara

As a platinum stockist of Rosa Clará, we were thrilled to receive images of Mery Perelló, now wife of tennis superstar Rafael Nadal, wearing two exquisite Rosa Clará haute couture designs, made exclusively for their wedding day in Majorca, Spain.

Come and explore these two dresses, their original sketches, and why the new Mrs Nadal wasn’t the only family member wearing the Spanish designers’ brand on her big day.

For the ceremony

Famed for their haute couture designs, Rosa Clará certainly did not disappoint with the first look of the day; a bespoke long-sleeved Art Deco-inspired French lace on a jeweled-neckline bodice. Flower motifs and micro beading completed the intricate detailing on hand-embroidered fabric.

The original sketch

The skirt, inspired by a classic ball-gown style made of silk crepe, featured a weightless detachable train. And if you’re not already obsessed with these fine details, Mery completed the look with a subtle yet striking silk tulle veil.

Inspired by Mery’s dress?

You’re in luck! Rosa Clará have created SALVAN, as part of their Couture 2020 Collection, so brides-to-be can experience their own dreamy, Mediterranean look.

“An overwhelming wedding day for all of us! We feel incredibly proud for taking part in such an important day: Mery Perelló and Rafael Nadal’s wedding. We would like to congratulate the gorgeous and unique couple, and we wish you the best forever!” – Rosa Clará, designer

For the wedding reception

Entrusting Rosa Clará to create her second dress of the day, Mery’s evening gown was elegant, contemporary and adorned with Chantilly lace. Continuing with the delicate touch of her previous design, scalloped flower motifs and transparent micro beading featured on the meticulously hand-embroidered fabric.

The subtle yet alluring neckline combined beautifully with the open back to showcase sensual femininity at its finest.

SELVA, inspired by Mery’s evening gown, has also been added to Rosa Clará’s Couture 2020 Collection.

A family affair

The showcase of stunning designs did not stop with Mery, as both the mothers of the bride and groom opted for this world-renowned on the day. Maria Pascual, Mery’s mother, wore an exclusive silk crepe dress, with pearl grey hemstitch embroidery. Ana Maria, mother to the Spanish tennis star wore 4T107 from the design house’s 2020 cocktail collection, while his sister shone in 4T216 from the same collection.
