Who is Divine Atelier?
Divine Atelier was founded in 2006 by designer Luminița Coșleacără and is based in the historical centre of Brașov, Romania. The brand has spent two decades rewriting the rules of bridal fashion. Luminița designs wedding dresses for the bride who doesn't quite fit the traditional mould. She does so alongside her daughter, Mara, a Royal College of Art London graduate who brings a fine-art sensibility to the house. Together, they craft dresses that are relaxed, romantic, and distinctly their own. Slow fashion sits at the heart of the brand. Every gown is cut, sewn and finished by hand in the Brașov atelier using premium natural fabrics. This includes 100% silk, Italian crepe, georgette, silk taffeta, and fine French and Italian lace. These materials are chosen as much for their quality as for their sustainability.
The Divine Atelier look
The Divine Atelier aesthetic is a study in studied simplicity. Clean, modernist lines infused with soft bohemian romance. Think sculptural corset bodices, effortless draping, and flowing silk skirts that move beautifully. Look closer, and you'll find delicate cut-outs, eyelets, and panels of hand-painted floral detail. Many pieces are designed as separates, meaning tops, skirts, and corsets can be mixed across styles to build a look that's genuinely one of a kind.
