It’s nearly time for our London bridal sample sale where, for the first time, we will have all gowns priced at £600 or less. Oh, and we’ve also listened to our lovely brides-to-be, so the London boutique will have extended opening times until 9.00pm on both sample sale days.
What you can expect from our London bridal sample sale
Firstly, we have a fantastic selection of stunning designer samples. If you’ve visited our website before, or glanced at some of our real brides, the collections and gowns are exquisite. From Jesus Peiro to Inbal Dror, Kobus to Cortana – there’s something for everyone.
When you buy a dress during the sale you will also receive a free accessory (jewellery, veil or headdress)!
Dates for your diary
Thursday 22 and Friday 23 of September! We will be open from 10am to 9pm.
How to be successful at a bridal sample sale
Because there are limited appointments during sample sales it really works on a first-come first-serve basis. The early bird really catches the… well, you know what we’re trying to say. Make sure you’ve had a decent breakfast before you start shopping – it really is a workout. We’d also recommend that you bring an umbrella. Our London sample sale gets extremely busy, so expect to see (or be part of) a queue outside the shop.
You are likely to be limited to the number of dresses you can try on during the sale, so it’s vital that you have very well-fitting nude underwear that will not distract your eye from the gown.
Finally, it’s about the big decision. Bring one trusted relative or friend with you to reduce any possible confusion when selecting your gown. If you leave to go and think about the dress, the chances are that it won’t be there when you return. Be prepared to make a decision.
Is this the event for you?
Have you just started on your journey to find the dream wedding dress? If not, this is probably not the event for you. Keep an eye on our Facebook pages and Twitter to find out when our designers days and trunk shows will be. They are extremely helpful to attend if you’ve done your research and have a designer in mind.
This is the perfect event for you if you have a very clear idea of the style and fit of the dress you would like. It’s also great if you have a fast approaching wedding date and need to buy something off the peg.
Sizes and alterations
Most dresses will be available in size 10, 12 or 14, and our team can give you a list of preferred seamstresses. We would estimate around £150 to £200 for standard alterations – so factor that into your overall gown budget before you launch into sample sale heaven.
